I went into Games Workshop once. Never again. It absolutely stank of BO and desperation.

BO........GW is normally inhabited these days by pre pubescent kids who couldn't even muster BO yet. The BO and desperation is normally restricted to the staff.

The reason I give in GW for no longer gaming in store is that I don't have time anymore.

The real reason is because I couldn't face playing against yet another shower-dodging virgin with a clammy handshake, an encylopaedic knowledge of the rules and an army in which winning every time came before character and fun.

NOT FOR SALE.
Also, if you've ever seen them you'll know the production value is [almost literally] like a parish magazine in the 1970s.Classical war gamers will know exactly the sort of folded A4, stapled, hand typed thing I mean.[/quote]

I've got a few like that sitting upstairs and several that are printed in vivid blocky colours on thick paper (like early 70's Doctor Who annuals)

Fox, I reckon the £40 will be fine... had a look at the WFRP rulebook last night and it's in worse condition than I thought it was... including handwritten errata. In ink.

Won't make it to ILHF so just send me the total incl postage when you have a chance and I'll get the money to you. :D

I've still got a large Space Orks army in the loft!! From back in the late 80's!!! It's from the time of the lead Ork figures were revamped to look like Germans :D :D I even added some 1/32 Tamaya German helms to the figures. I painted them in Waffen SS camo colours. I'll try an photgraph them and post on here! Oh, even got some of the original Ork Dreadnoughts, you could add sections and arms to the models, one has six arms!!!
